Brooks Brothers Expands Procure To Pay Cloud Footprint On GT Nexus

Platform Approach to Procurement Enables Retailer to Expand Functionality to Drive Business Growth

Oakland, Ca (Marketwired) - GT Nexus announced today that Brooks Brothers has expanded its cloud supply chain strategy using the GT Nexus platform. Since 2007, the retailer has used GT Nexus for procurement and settlement processes. Brooks Brothers will leverage that same data and connectivity to extend supply chain visibility, support international growth and reduce costs.

Brooks Brothers was established in 1818 and is the oldest apparel company in the United States. Today they are a global brand with over 300 retail stores worldwide.

"GT Nexus has been a strategic partner over the years and we see the next wave of the relationship expanding further into our global supply chain to drive growth," said Joe Dixon, Senior Vice President of Product Development, Sourcing and Production at Brooks Brothers. "The ability to tap into streams of data from the PO, invoice and settlement process in an automated environment helps us untangle a series of complex workflows that reduce costs and unlock efficiencies."

The GT Nexus platform houses, connects and shares data across all areas of the business, linking the physical and financial supply chain. Brooks Brothers is able to integrate with supply chain partners more efficiently to eliminate costs and support international growth.

"Brooks Brothers recognizes the value of a platform approach to supply chain, as opposed to best of breed point solutions for Procure to Pay," said Sean Feeney, CEO of GT Nexus. "GT Nexus allows companies to address point challenges while leaving the door open to greater, strategic initiatives when the time is right. Essential data is captured once by Brooks Brothers, starting with the purchase order. But it cascades down through amendments, invoices and settlements, feeding into strategic initiatives such as customs and duty programs that drive out cost."
