IOFM's AP & P2P Conference & Expo Announces Three-Day Conference Agenda

The event will take place October 24-26, 2016 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas

Portland, ME (PRWEB) - IOFM’s biannual event, the Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo, recently released its agenda for this fall’s conference, taking place October 24-26 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The three-day event will kick off on Monday, October 24, with seven full-day, pre-conference workshops geared around the topics of procure-to-pay, strategy for controllers, women’s empowerment, compliance, project management, and metrics. The main conference program will begin on October 24 at 4:15pm with keynote Libby Gill, best-selling author, who will discuss leadership and engagement. Immediately following the keynote, attendees will divide into peer-to-peer roundtable groups to engage in focused discussion with their fellow attendees about topics ranging from ERP system to common issues by department size. The first day will conclude with an opening reception in the exhibit hall from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.

Conference day two is filled with breakout sessions categorized into eight different tracks:

  • Track A: AP Fundamentals & Best Practices
  • Track B: P2P Automation Masters
  • Track C: AP & P2P Automation I
  • Track D: AP & P2P Automation II
  • Track E: Shared Services & GBS
  • Track F: Compliance
  • Track G: Leadership, Process Improvement, & Metrics
  • Track H: Leading Strategies for Today’s Controller

Attendees are encouraged to customize their personal schedules between the eight tracks to find a curriculum that meets their needs. Peer-to-peer roundtables will meet again toward the end of day two, immediately followed by a networking reception in the exhibit hall.

The last conference day will feature more breakout sessions in the morning. During the final luncheon, IOFM will present the 2016 Spotlight Awards, recognizing outstanding achievement in Accounts Payable in four different categories: AP Manager, AP Department, P2P Manager, and P2P Department. The winner from each category will be recognized onstage and awarded a trophy. Directly after the awards luncheon, the conference will conclude with three concurrent featured sessions.

Post-conference offerings for fall 2016 include: Accounts Payable Certification training, Procure-to-Pay Certification training, Certified Professional Controller training, and a selection of four workshops focusing on compliance, management, and metrics.
