Authoria Advisor On-Demand™ Shows Strong Customer Adoption
More than 30 Customers Choose Authoria's Managed, On-Demand Deployment Option
Waltham, MA - Authoria, Inc., the leader in integrated strategic Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today released an update on the exceptional market acceptance of Advisor On-Demand™, part of its Authoria Choice™ program. Launched in February 2004, Authoria Choice provides flexible options for purchasing and deploying Authoria's Advisor Series solutions.
Since its launch in February 2004, Authoria has secured more than 30 large enterprise customers for Advisor On-Demand, helping them realize savings in total cost of ownership and ease of setup while lowering requirements on their internal resources. Some of the many customers taking advantage of the option include: American Family Insurance, American Electric Power, JohnsonDiversey, McDonald's Corporation, PepsiAmericas, and Sun Life Financial, among others.
"Advisor On-Demand is a unique and powerful offering for managing people, and we're extremely pleased by the positive response we're receiving from our customers," said Tod Loofbourrow, Authoria's chief executive officer. "Customers can subscribe to Authoria solutions as on-demand managed services and delegate the ongoing maintenance and management of their software applications to Authoria. This powerful alternative to both on-premise software deployment and full business process outsourcing enables customers to realize valuable cost and resource savings without forcing them to surrender flexibility or control of strategic business processes."
Authoria Advisor On-Demand
Advisor On-Demand offers powerful online solutions for maximizing workforce productivity. Unlike other Software as a Service (SaaS) or on-demand models, Advisor On-Demand offers customers a fully managed solution and application deployment environment that dramatically lowers the internal resources required to manage their applications. Traditional, on-premise implementations require the customer to be responsible for all ongoing maintenance of the hardware, software, applications, and data quality, as well as implementation of upgrades, content management and authoring, release management, testing and integration to back-end systems.
With Advisor On-Demand, customers need only to manage the design, review, and approval of their online solutions allowing them to focus on more strategic initiatives. Authoria is responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of the solutions, including:
- Integration of customer employee data
- Advanced security features, including authentication for single sign-on access
- Content authoring, plan implementation and updates to worksheets, forms and reports
- Application configuration, testing and staging
- Implementation of upgrades and application of patches
- Complete hardware production support
- Presentation changes
- Customers can easily manage any plan, content, and system changes to their solution, view reports, and access project management data through the company's dedicated customer portal.
"With Advisor On-Demand, we can deploy and maintain the same strategic HCM solutions, configured to a customer's unique business requirements, in much less time than is required for a traditional in-house implementation," continued Loofbourrow. "Authoria Choice gives companies the flexibility to deliver their strategic HCM applications either on-demand or on-premise in whatever way best fits their business needs."
