Automatic Vision System

The L. S. Starrett Company10 Automatic Vision/Multisensor System is offered in three machines as either vision only or as a multisensor system, utilizing both camera-based non-contact measurement and Renishaw touch probe contact measurement.

Users can obtain contact and non-contact measurement seamlessly on a single machine. Employing a backlight tracking system, the system links the camera and backlight to ensure maximum illumination capabilities, allowing parts to remain stationary during measurement routines.

The system is available as either manual or fully automatic and comes in sizes ranging from 24- × 24- × 10-in. to 40- × 28- × 10-in. The machine features a Windows NT platform; a user configurable interface; interactive graphical part view; geometric tolerancing; dual or single monitor configurations, graphical report generation; CAD interface to DXF image capture; and reverse engineering.
