Chicago Dial Indicatorlus series of digital indicators, with user selectable or programmable advanced features, employs CMOS technology that provides high reliability. In addition, they can be custom tailored to meet specific application or industry requirements.

Standard features include: an incremental measuring mode, seven measuring ranges, inch/metric display conversion, travel reverse, floating zero, a rotating bezel, automatic off, direct drive LCD display, and three SPC data output formats. In addition, the indicators are available in 10 resolutions, have maximum reading hold, user-selectable resolution, and three power sources.

Special features include:

  • absolute/preset measuring mode, where a preset value can be entered. The gage display doesn't exceed 99.9 in., or 999 mm. If the gage is turned off, the preset value is retained.
  • minimum reading hold, which displays and holds the lowest reading. Actual spindle position is retained.
  • user tolerance preset (high and low). This lets you enter high and low tolerances.
  • TIR measuring mode, where the gage displays the difference between the highest and lowest values reached.
  • display/freeze reading hold, which holds the reading after the measurement has been taken.
  • feature lock, where selections cannot be inadvertently changed.
  • floating reference. This feature enables the absolute/preset number at any position of the spindle.
