Dr Schär Selects JAGGAER As Technology Partner For Digital Procurement Innovation

Dr. Schär is an Italian pioneer in the gluten-free products market, specializing today in food products adapted to different nutritional needs. The multinational company with a South Tyrolean heart, which has evolved over the past 100 years to be present today with 18 offices in 11 countries and around 1,600 employees globally, has chosen to digitize its supplier management process with JAGGAER technology.

With the growth of the size of the company and the constant commitment to quality, research, and product development, the need arises to strengthen and innovate procurement, with the support of a technological solution able to improve the governance of supplier management processes. The project includes more structured and collaborative paths of onboarding and qualification of suppliers, performance evaluation dashboards, and timely reporting with the data of interest, to support the decision-making process.

The JAGGAER ONE platform will be a digital collaborative area designed to improve the exchange of data between Procurement, Quality, R&D departments, individual plants, and over 500 suppliers, with increasingly attentive management of information related to supplier profiles, product sheets, ingredients, allergens, but not only.
