GEP Selected As Preferred Procurement Software Provider To E&I Cooperative Services' Network Of 6,000+ K-University Educational Institutions
E&I member institutions gain streamlined access to GEP AI-powered source-to-pay solutions to transform procurement and drive measurable value
GEP announced today that E&I Cooperative Services, a member-owned, non-profit cooperative serving more than 6,000 educational institutions across the United States, has selected GEP’s AI-driven procurement software solutions as a preferred supplier. Under the competitively solicited agreement, E&I member institutions can access the solutions under pre-negotiated, E&I-approved terms.
This agreement enables U.S. universities, colleges and K–12 educational institutions to more easily deploy GEP’s AI-powered source-to-pay platform to standardize sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and purchasing. The platform helps strengthen compliance, improve visibility across spend and suppliers, reduce manual effort, and support more effective use of limited budgets through data-driven procurement.
By leveraging E&I’s competitively solicited agreement, member institutions can reduce procurement complexity and accelerate time-to-value while meeting education and public-sector requirements. The agreement will be supported through E&I enablement resources and a dedicated microsite, helping members efficiently evaluate and adopt GEP solutions based on their specific needs.
This supplier agreement builds on a prior consulting engagement in which GEP supported E&I’s own procurement transformation. Through that engagement, E&I redesigned its sourcing operating model, streamlined processes and improved organizational efficiency, an initiative that was recognized with a CIPS industry award for Procurement Consultancy Project of the Year. This new agreement represents the next phase of collaboration, extending proven procurement capabilities directly to E&I member institutions through an approved supplier relationship. GEP was selected through E&I’s competitive solicitation process, prevailing against other source-to-pay providers.
