350Green Awarded Contract By The Cooperative Purchasing Network

Agreement Will Lower Cost and Streamline Rollout of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Los Angeles, CA (Marketwire) - 350Green, a developer of wide scale electric vehicle (EV) charging networks in major cities across the United States, today announced it has been awarded a contract for electrical charging stations by The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN). The agreement will lower the costs and streamline the purchase and contracting process for government entities planning EV charging projects across the country.

TCPN is a national governmental purchasing cooperative that contracts on behalf of K-12 schools, local governments, colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations. The new agreement with 350Green includes electrical charging equipment, installation and network services provided at significant discounts and savings to eligible public agency customers.

TCPN competitively bids and awards contracts to national vendors in accordance with purchasing procedures mandated by state procurement laws and regulations. TCPN contracts are available for use and benefit all entities that must comply with state purchasing laws. This cooperative was established to help other governmental entities operate efficiently and economically.

"This contract will make it easier, faster and less costly for government agencies to offer electric vehicle charging services to their employees, customers and the general public," said Mariana Gerzanych, co-founder and CEO of 350Green. "As record high gas prices increase interest in EVs among consumers, it's now more important for government agencies to lead the way for easy electric car adoption."

"TCPN is proud to have awarded a contract to such an innovative company. This contract is positioned for public sector agencies to offer advanced technology that has a positive impact on the environment and meets the needs of citizens while also meeting their obligation to save money," said Chris Penny, Vice President -- Sales from TCPN.

In addition to streamlined procurement through the TCPN contract, 350Green is offering grant writing services and incentives which can help further lower the cost of installations by leveraging existing tax incentives, rebates or other state and federal programs for electric car infrastructure.
