Lone Tree, CO (PRWEB) - Park Meadows Metropolitan District announced today that it has joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, a BidNet purchasing group that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local government bids.

The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System connects 105 departments from 1,558 local government agencies and provides a bid notification system that gives vendors instant access to bids, RFPs, quotes and amendments online. Park Meadows Metropolitan District joined the Rocky Mountain Bid System on April 3, providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for the district and all other participating agencies on the system.

Park Meadows Metropolitan District invites all local vendors to join the Rocky Mountain Bid System and view its upcoming solicitations. Vendor benefits of registering on Rocky Mountain Bid System include:

  • 24-hour access to local government opportunities
  • Notification customized to the vendors’ products or services provided
  • Reliable and timely delivery of notifications, addendum and documents
  • Advanced notification of Term-Contracts
  • E-Bid and E-Quote Submission

“There are many benefits to participation in the procurement network and sharing resources with other agencies,” said Taylor Goertz, Park Meadows Metropolitan District Engineer. “As part of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System we will be able to save time and lower costs for both our agency and its vendors—which is important to us.”

The network was developed and is powered by BidNet’s e-procurement solution, SourceSuite. BidNet is an Albany, N.Y. company that manages 15 government purchasing groups nationwide.

Vendors who provide goods and services can register for the system to receive bid opportunities from Park Meadows Metropolitan District and the system’s other local agencies. Vendors register online athttp://www.rockymountainbidsystem.com.

“Our vendors have centralized access to bid opportunities from multiple agencies, while we benefit from increased vendor competition and process automation,” Goertz said.
